The Brand: ®

Origin

The name Neuro Armor is derived from two parts. Neuro pertains to the nervous system. The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. Emotion and thought are both associated with the nervous system. Armor stems from Dr. De Luise's experience with the brave defenders of Offutt, Air Force Base (for the full story go to - About: The Neuro Armor Story). It was in the Security Forces armory, where Airmen would arm up daily to defend the base, that Chris realized his role in helping Airmen was to arm them with the mental, emotional, and spiritual resources to help them succeed in life. Neuro Armor is here to arm you and your team with inner weaponry, so you can thrive in personal, professional, and family life. We hope you will consider our learning performance solutions for you and your organization.

Vision

The Neuro Armor Story

Neuro Armor began in 2013 through a revelation our founder, Dr. Chris De Luise Ph.D., had while serving the 55th Security Forces Squadron at Offutt, AFB in Bellevue, Nebraska. He would visit Airmen in their armory as they were arming up each day to defend the base. During this time, Airmen would don their kevlar vests, 9mm pistol, and utility belts while forming up to receive their security briefing. This was a time for him to connect with these brave, young men and women to hear their story and try to boost their morale before leaving for duty. Being a chaplain, he was considered a non-combatant in accordance with the Geneva Conventions of 1949. He was not allowed to arm up on the home front or in deployed conditions. He reflected on the reality that the people he served were arming up daily and deploying to hostile locations. It was through this introspection that he asked one question that set into motion Neuro Armor, "I cannot arm with them, so what will I arm them with?" His response, "I will arm their mind, heart, and soul to succeed in battle." This began his work to arm Airmen with inner weaponry. The mental, emotional, and spiritual skills and strategies to overcome adversity and succeed in life whether deployed or on the home front.

I cannot arm with them, so what will I arm them with? I will arm their mind, heart, and soul to succeed in battle.

Today, Chris continues to serve our Nation’s son’s and daughter’s. However, he has expanded his efforts to serve those outside the military as well. His hope is that more people would mentally arm themselves to face the challenges of life. He understands that you may not be fighting a war, but you have your own battles to face. The battle within and the battle of life are not to be taken lightly. Arm Up!

"The words below speak to what I have done, but this is not me. I am more than my achievements, and more than my failures and so are you. I have found that many people are shaped by the highlights of life...good or bad...Yet, we are more than a highlight reel. May you see the fullness of who you are, may you battle those who try to take away your authentic self, yourself included, and may you carry the mental armor to defeat anyone who stands in your way."
